Pebbles, an African elephant living in Botswana, was born in 1994. Her biggest passion in life is to take photographs. Pebbles says that when she takes pictures, she does not feel like making art but rather documenting history and what she enjoys most is underwater photography. Pebbles has five nephews and nieces that she adores. While they swim and play and dive in and out of the waters of the Okavango Delta, or stay underwater using their trunks like snorkels, Pebbles capture their laughter with her camera and is the happiest aunt in all of Africa. Even though, mud baths are essential for elephants to protect their skin from the ultraviolet rays of the sun, to Pebbles they feel like massages. While getting massaged, she also empties her head and has a chance to design the biography she will be writing soon The money earned from this memoir, that will mainly focus on her family life, will be donated to organizations that fight against the ivory poachers. Pebbles is an elephant grateful for her joyful life, the only thing that would make her more happy would be if she was able to jump like all her other mammal friends.
